HRW is one of Houston's most anticipated foodie events of the year, and it's the perfect chance to explore the diverse dining scene while supporting a crucial cause: fighting hunger through the Houston Food Bank.
A Legacy of Giving: Avenida's Journey with HRW
Avenida has been a proud participant in Houston Restaurant Weeks for the last 13 years. Founded by the late & beloved food journalist Cleverley Stone (now led by her daughter Katie Stone), HRW has grown from a one-week event into a month-long celebration, becoming the largest annual fundraiser for America's largest food bank.
Over the past two decades, HRW has raised over $22 million, providing more than 66 million meals to food-insecure Houstonians. We are incredibly proud to have been a part of this impactful journey, contributing to a cause that truly makes a difference in our city.
What is Houston Restaurant Weeks? Dine Out & Do Good!
From August 1st through September 1st, 2025, hundreds of Houston's top restaurants will offer specially priced, multi-course prix fixe menus. Every meal purchased during HRW generates a donation directly to the Houston Food Bank. For every $1 donated, the Food Bank can provide 3 meals, meaning your delicious meal at Avenida translates into vital support for those in need. It's truly a "Dine Out & Do Good" experience!

First Course:
Avenida's Signature Salad Bar: An expansive selection of gourmet salads, cured meats, imported cheeses, fresh vegetables, and delectable Brazilian specialties like Pao de Queijo (cheese bread), grilled pineapple and creamy Lobster Bisque.
Second Course (Rodizio Experience):
Indulge in our continuous tableside service of various succulent grilled meats, carved fresh by our Gauchos. Our selection includes:
Picanha (Top Sirloin): Brazil's most popular cut, 21-day aged and seasoned with sea salt.
Chicken Breast: Grilled and seasoned with herbs.
Baby Beef: 21-day wet aged & seasoned with sea salt.
St. Louis Pork Ribs: Fall-off-the-bone ribs marinated in white wine and spices.
Argentinian Pork Sausage: Our special blend of spices for a zesty kick.
Chicken Legs: Marinated and grilled to perfection.
Queso Asadero: Grilled cheese drizzled with honey.
